Más de siete millones de personas compraron las gafas inteligentes Ray-Ban de Meta el año pasado. Mucha gente usa estas gafas para grabar vídeos y hablar con la IA. Estas gafas parecen normales, pero tienen una cámara oculta.
Un nuevo informe dice que los trabajadores en África ven muchos de estos vídeos privados. Ven a la gente en sus casas e incluso ven los datos de las tarjetas de crédito. Esto es un gran problema para la privacidad. Meta dice que intentan no mostrar las caras de la gente en los vídeos, pero los trabajadores dicen que aún así pueden ver a mucha gente. La mayoría de los usuarios no saben que hay extraños viendo sus vídeos. Creen que solo la IA mira los datos.
Ahora, el gobierno del Reino Unido y algunas personas en EE. UU. quieren respuestas. Dicen que Meta debe ser sincera sobre sus normas. La gente debería tener cuidado al usar estas gafas.
