Se declaró un grave incendio en Lahaina, Maui, Hawai, que causó la muerte de al menos 93 personas.
Se trata de la catástrofe natural más mortífera en EEUU desde 1959. El fuego destruyó edificios en varios lugares. Las autoridades aún desconocen la causa del incendio, y se esfuerzan por controlar la situación. Tres incendios forestales comenzaron en la zona al mismo tiempo, y el de Lahaina fue el peor de ellos. La gente se está uniendo para ayudar a los afectados, y piden a las autoridades que reconstruyan la ciudad.
