Se han grabado unas imágenes espeluznantes delante del departamento de A&E de un hospital inglés.
Mostraba a un hombre que se desplomaba en el suelo por el dolor de un infarto y quedaba desatendido durante 30 segundos enteros, tras lo cual un paramédico que estaba de guardia fue a verle sin llevar ningún equipo médico. El paramédico habló con el hombre durante unos dos minutos y luego volvió a su ambulancia.
El hombre que estaba en el suelo murió. Los tribunales impusieron a este paramédico una condena de ocho meses, lo suspendieron durante dos años y le ordenaron cumplir 240 horas de servicios comunitarios.
