Un leopardo de las nieves saltó una valla y se metió en un corral de ovejas. Más tarde, unos pastores lo encontraron tan embalsamado que no podía volver a saltar. Una vez que los pastores consiguieron que volviera a moverse, el leopardo fue liberado en su hábitat natural.
Los leopardos de las nieves son extremadamente raros. Son más raros que los pandas gigantes. Son uno de los animales más protegidos de China. Este leopardo medía poco menos de metro y medio y pesaba unos 100 kg, pero los leopardos de las nieves pueden llegar a ser mucho más grandes.
