El director Steven Spielberg y otros hablan de lo que ocurrió entre bastidores. La película fue difícil de hacer. Rodaron en el océano, el tiburón a menudo no funcionaba y tardaban en terminar. Spielberg tenía miedo de perder su trabajo. Al final, Tiburón se convirtió en un gran éxito e inició la idea del éxito de taquilla veraniego.
