En la moda de lujo, India ayuda a las casas de moda europeas a confeccionar ropa.
India es buena haciendo ropa. Pero las empresas no hablan mucho de la situación en las fábricas indias. A menudo trabajan niños. Los trabajadores reciben poco dinero. Las grandes marcas dicen “Made in France” o “Made in Italy” en la ropa. Pero en realidad las fabrican en India. Esto no es justo ni transparente.
Una chaqueta especial cuesta 43.000 euros. India trabaja 2.000 horas en ella. Europa sólo 100 horas. Pero la etiqueta dice “Fabricado en Francia”, lo que no es cierto.
Algunas marcas están empezando a decir que utilizan India, pero no es fácil en el mundo de la moda.
