El huracán Milton causó muchos daños en Florida, mató al menos a 10 personas y dejó a millones sin electricidad.
La tormenta golpeó la costa oeste como un fuerte huracán de categoría 3, pero se debilitó a medida que avanzaba hacia la costa este. Aunque Florida evitó la peor de las situaciones, muchos lugares sufrieron fuertes inundaciones y tornados. Más de 27 tornados tocaron tierra y mataron a cinco personas en el condado de St. Lucie. Algunas personas, como Crystal Coleman, pasaron miedo mientras la tormenta dañaba sus casas.
