Zhangjiagang es una ciudad de China. Tiene una nueva forma de gestionar los residuos.

Ahora ya no se entierra la basura. La ciudad quema la basura en un lugar especial. Esto genera electricidad y calor. El lugar está limpio. No huele mal. Un ordenador ayuda a controlar el proceso. Los residuos alimentarios y los domésticos se mezclan. La electricidad ayuda a la gente en sus casas. Es suficiente para 60 000 hogares. Después de quemarlos, algunos residuos se usan para fabricar materiales de construcción. El aire caliente se lleva a pequeñas tiendas. Los residuos peligrosos también van a un lugar seguro. Esta nueva forma de gestionar los residuos ayuda a la gente y mantiene la ciudad limpia.
