Metanol verde – nivel 2

Dinamarca es uno de los primeros países en fabricar metanol verde, un nuevo tipo de combustible limpio. Este combustible puede alimentar barcos, aviones y fábricas, y podemos utilizarlo para fabricar plásticos, pintura y pegamento.
La nueva fábrica del sur de Dinamarca utiliza energía solar para producir hidrógeno a partir del agua. Después, mezcla el hidrógeno con CO₂ de desechos animales para fabricar metanol verde. Grandes empresas como Maersk y Lego ya lo utilizan en su trabajo.
Fabricar este combustible cuesta más dinero que el combustible normal, pero Dinamarca quiere fabricar más en el futuro. Es un gran paso para un transporte más limpio y para la lucha mundial contra el cambio climático.
