Volkswagen es la mayor empresa automovilística de Alemania. La empresa está pensando en recortar puestos de trabajo. Algunos informes dicen que 30.000 personas pueden perder su empleo. Esto se debe a que las ventas de coches en Alemania no son buenas.

Otras empresas alemanas, como Mercedes-Benz y BMW, tienen problemas similares. Volkswagen dice que necesita ahorrar dinero. Pero la empresa aún no sabe qué hacer.

El gobierno alemán quiere ayudar, pero Volkswagen debe resolver el problema. Parte del problema es que las ventas de coches en China no son tan fuertes como antes. China también tiene nuevas empresas automovilísticas. A Volkswagen le resulta más difícil vender coches allí.
