Neura Robotics, dirigida por David Reger, es una empresa alemana que crea robots de vanguardia. Su robot humanoide 4NE-1 puede realizar tareas en el hogar y en fábricas.
David, que empezó como trabajador social, aprendió robótica con la ayuda de expertos. Encontró apoyo en China y más tarde recaudó 100 millones de euros en Europa. La fábrica de Neura está en Stuttgart, donde se centran en la automatización.
La empresa fabrica robots de soldadura baratos y desarrolla sensores para identificar a los humanos. Neura emplea a 260 personas de 35 países y recibe miles de solicitudes de empleo cada mes. Para 2030, tienen previsto fabricar 5 millones de robots y esperan facturar 50 millones de euros este año. El objetivo de Neura es convertir la robótica en la primera industria de Alemania, incluso más que los automóviles.
