Hambruna en Gaza – nivel 2

Las Naciones Unidas afirman que hay hambruna en la ciudad de Gaza y sus alrededores. António Guterres, secretario general de la ONU, lo ha calificado de desastre provocado por el hombre.
Un grupo especial de seguridad alimentaria (IPC) afirma que más de 500.000 personas de Gaza viven en condiciones muy peligrosas. Muchas familias se enfrentan al hambre, la enfermedad e incluso la muerte. El grupo advierte de que la situación empeorará si no llegan rápidamente más alimentos y ayuda. Los habitantes de Gaza describen precios muy elevados de los alimentos, hambre y niños que mueren. La ONU dice que la gente llegó a esta situación porque la ayuda llegó demasiado tarde.
Israel no está de acuerdo y califica el informe de mentira. Dice que no hay hambruna. Pero muchos grupos de la ONU, trabajadores humanitarios e incluso aliados de Israel dicen que la ayuda que llega a Gaza no es suficiente.
