La fiebre aftosa en Europa – nivel 1

Austria cierra 24 pequeñas carreteras en la frontera con Hungría y Eslovaquia. La enfermedad animal llamada fiebre aftosa está en esos países. Austria quiere detenerla.
Eslovaquia descubre animales enfermos en tres granjas. Hungría también descubre la enfermedad. Los soldados ayudan a los granjeros a limpiar la zona. La enfermedad no hace daño a las personas. Pero pone muy enfermas a las vacas, cerdos y ovejas. Los animales tienen fiebre y dolor en la boca. Los granjeros no pueden vender los animales enfermos. Tienen que matarlos.
En algunas carreteras abiertas, Austria controla a las personas y los coches. Deben pasar por encima de una alfombra para limpiar sus zapatos o neumáticos. La policía también busca carne. Austria quiere impedir que entre la enfermedad.
