La FIFA creará un nuevo Premio de la Paz. La primera ceremonia tendrá lugar en Washington, DC, el mes que viene.
El presidente de la FIFA, Gianni Infantino, dice que el premio es para personas que ayudan a la paz. No dice quién lo recibirá. El fútbol puede ayudar a que la gente se una y sienta esperanza. Infantino es amigo del presidente estadounidense Donald Trump. Algunas personas creen que Trump podría recibir el premio. La FIFA dice que el fútbol y la política son dos cosas distintas.
Alguien conseguirá el premio en el sorteo de la Copa del Mundo del 5 de diciembre. A muchos les hace gracia. A algunos les gusta la idea de que el fútbol pueda ayudar a traer la paz. El premio es nuevo, y demuestra que el deporte puede intentar hacer algo bueno por el mundo.
