La revista alemana Die Aktuelle, propiedad del grupo mediático Funke, ha pedido disculpas a la familia de Michael Schumacher y ha despedido al redactor que publicó una entrevista generada por IA con el siete veces campeón del mundo de F1.
Schumacher no aparece en público desde 2013, tras sufrir una grave lesión cerebral en un accidente de esquí. Su familia anunció planes de emprender acciones legales contra la revista. La directora gerente de Funke, Bianca Pohlmann, declaró que el artículo era de mal gusto y engañoso y que no cumplía las normas periodísticas de la editorial. La revista había publicado una portada con la foto de un Schumacher sonriente junto al titular “Michael Schumacher, la primera entrevista”. El eslogan sonaba engañosamente real.
La familia de Schumacher mantiene una estricta privacidad sobre el estado del ex piloto.
