El lanzamiento de un nuevo servicio asequible de trenes nocturnos de Bruselas a Berlín por European Sleeper podría tener un gran impacto en los viajes por ferrocarril en Europa.
El éxito de este servicio ferroviario será muy importante para otras rutas de trenes nocturnos previstas e influirá en la capacidad de la UE para reducir las emisiones de carbono. Cada vez más gente busca viajes sostenibles y una alternativa a las compañías aéreas de bajo coste, y el servicio Bruselas-Berlín quiere ofrecer esto. La primera reacción fue positiva, pero hay problemas de financiación y para conseguir trenes modernos. Esperemos que haya demanda de servicios ferroviarios nocturnos y que sirva de apoyo a los viajes nocturnos en tren en Europa.
