Un profesor universitario estadounidense estaba escalando en Nepal cuando se cayó por un agujero. La grieta en el hielo tenía 22 metros de profundidad, y el hombre quedó atrapado en ella.
El hombre pensó que iba a morir. Tenía el brazo y cinco costillas rotas, pero no se rindió y salió de la brecha. Tardó seis horas. Llegó a su tienda en otras tres horas. La ayuda llegó al día siguiente.
