El rugby es un deporte competitivo y duro que se practica en Inglaterra, pero a los médicos les preocupan los efectos de los placajes en los niños que juegan al rugby en la escuela.
Algunos padres dicen que el juego es demasiado violento, mientras que otros afirman que sería extraño que no hubiera placajes en el juego.
Una lesión de rugby paralizó a un jugador, e incluso él dijo que el placaje debería formar parte del juego. Dijo que la gente elige jugar a este deporte porque quiere el contacto, y que la dificultad del rugby le dio fuerza de voluntad para superar su parálisis.
