¡Sir David Attenborough cumple 100 años! Su cumpleaños es precisamente hoy, 8 de mayo. Es un cineasta de fama mundial que se ha dedicado toda su vida a enseñarnos sobre la naturaleza.
Para celebrarlo, hay varios programas de televisión nuevos. Uno de ellos repasa su «Gran Aventura» de los años 70. Recorrió un millón de kilómetros y visitó muchos países para filmar animales. Algunos de esos viajes fueron peligrosos, pero cambiaron nuestra forma de ver el mundo. Una nueva serie llamada «Secret Garden» explora los animales que viven en nuestros propios jardines. David quiere mostrarnos que todos podemos ayudar a la naturaleza en nuestros patios traseros.
El evento más importante es un concierto y un espectáculo en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres. Actores y cantantes famosos hablarán de cómo David les inspiró. También habrá una orquesta que tocará música de sus famosos programas, como «Planet Earth». Es un gran agradecimiento a un hombre que hace tanto por la Tierra.
