La policía detiene a un polaco de 39 años que agredió a la primera ministra danesa, Mette Frederiksen.
La agresión ocurrió en Copenhague. Frederiksen sufrió una pequeña herida en el cuello. La policía danesa dijo que el agresor estaba borracho y drogado y no sabía que había herido a la primera ministra. Por tanto, la policía no cree que fuera un ataque político. Dio las gracias a todos por su apoyo y dijo que necesitaba tiempo con su familia. Los dirigentes de la UE criticaron el atentado. Dijeron que era malo para la democracia. El primer ministro noruego lo calificó de inaceptable.
El incidente ocurrió justo antes de las elecciones de la UE. Las autoridades danesas dijeron que el agresor era un ciudadano polaco que vivía en Dinamarca. Esto se produce tras otros ataques recientes contra políticos en Europa.
