La gente recolecta veneno de abeja para fabricar medicinas y estudiar enfermedades cerebrales. Sin embargo, algunos métodos de recolección del veneno pueden dañar a las abejas, que ya están sufriendo la pérdida de lugares donde vivir, enfermedades y pesticidas.
Un científico australiano ha encontrado una nueva forma de recoger el veneno de las abejas. Da a las abejas un trozo de cristal que pican. Cuando pican el cristal, las abejas no pueden atascarse ni hacerse daño.
