Las fuertes lluvias traen problemas a California. La gente rica tiene grandes casas en acantilados cerca del mar. Las lluvias provocan corrimientos de tierra. Estos problemas son cada vez mayores. Esto ocurre debido al cambio climático.
La situación es muy grave en ocho condados. Se trata de unos 20 millones de personas. La gente rica de ciudades como San Clemente y Dana Point está muy preocupada. Si se produce un corrimiento de tierras, sus casas caerán al mar. Los funcionarios quieren ayudar. Darán dinero a la gente. Algunos expertos dicen que la gente necesitará 150.000 millones de dólares para 2100.
Algunas zonas hablan de alejarse del mar. Pero este problema no es sólo de California. Otros estados también se enfrentan a problemas relacionados con el cambio climático.
