Irán acusó de espionaje a una pareja británica, Craig y Lindsay Foreman. La policía los detuvo en enero, pero esto no se hizo público hasta la semana pasada.
Las autoridades iraníes afirman que no eran verdaderos turistas, sino que estaban obteniendo información. La pareja viajaba en moto y tenía previsto permanecer en Irán cinco días. Lindsay compartió posts sobre su viaje, diciendo que estaban estudiando lo que constituye una buena vida.
El Reino Unido advierte a los británicos que no visiten Irán porque pueden ser detenidos. Los Foreman conocían los riesgos, pero decidieron ir de todos modos. Su familia está preocupada e intenta traerlos a casa. Algunos extranjeros en Irán vuelven a casa rápidamente, pero otros permanecen en prisión durante años.
