La FAA vigila más de cerca a Boeing. Sugiere comprobaciones en los Boeing 737-900ER. Hay problemas con los tapones de las puertas.

Estas preocupaciones surgen tras un problema con un avión MAX 9 de Alaska Airlines. El accidente se produce cuando el avión está en el aire. Boeing detiene 171 aviones MAX 9. La FAA aconseja a las compañías aéreas que comprueben los tapones de las puertas. Los inspectores encuentran problemas en algunos aviones. El 737-900ER es un modelo más antiguo. Pero tiene un diseño similar al MAX 9.
