Agua negra en una fuente – nivel 3

Unas imágenes captaron el momento en que activistas climáticos vertieron un líquido negro en una fuente de la Barcaccia del siglo XVII en Roma, Italia.
Los activistas del grupo Última Generación “Ultima Generaziona” dijeron que habían elegido la fuente para poner de relieve los peligros que el calentamiento global supone para el suministro de agua y el nivel del mar. Tiñeron de negro la famosa fuente de la Plaza de España con un líquido de origen vegetal para protestar contra la inacción ante el cambio climático. En un tuit, el grupo dijo que era absurdo que un gesto así escandalizara a la gente cuando el mundo estaba sufriendo una emergencia por sequía que estaba poniendo en crisis la agricultura y la producción de energía.
Los tres hombres y una mujer fueron retirados por la policía, puestos bajo custodia, y se enfrentan a cargos por desfigurar un monumento público y entrar en la fuente. El alcalde de Roma, Roberto Gualtieri, visitó la fuente diseñada por Pietro Bernini en 1629, y afirmó que Roma estaba a la vanguardia de la lucha contra el cambio climático y la protección del patrimonio artístico.
