La gripe aviar puede enfermar mucho a los animales. No hay medicinas para ayudarles. Hay casos de gripe aviar en Brasil desde hace unos meses. El mes pasado, los expertos encontraron gripe aviar en animales marinos en un estado llamado Rio Grande do Sul. Brasil es muy famoso por la venta de pollos. Pero dicen que no hay gripe aviar en los pollos que venden.
Hay focas y leones marinos muertos en distintos lugares del mar. Hay focas y leones marinos muertos cerca de Uruguay, país vecino de Brasil. Perú, Chile y Argentina también encuentran animales marinos enfermos. En Brasil, dicen que sigue siendo seguro comer pollo o huevos. La gripe aviar no está en estos animales por el momento.
