Tarjei Boe ganó la carrera de 15 km con salida en masa en Annecy Le Grand Bornand con 37:20.8.
La carrera fue difícil debido a la fuerte lluvia, que hizo que la pista estuviera blanda. Boe se mantuvo concentrado y tiró bien, lo que le ayudó a mantenerse en cabeza.
