El gobierno austriaco introdujo nuevas normas para los solicitantes de asilo.
Estas normas ayudan a los refugiados a conocer los valores austriacos y cómo vivir en Austria. Los refugiados deberán realizar trabajos para el gobierno o en determinadas empresas, servicios de enfermería, lugares para personas sin hogar o servicios de invierno. Los refugiados tendrán que seguir las normas para recibir dinero del Estado. Si no lo hacen, el gobierno reducirá las prestaciones.
También habrá una nueva lista de normas para enseñar a los refugiados la cultura, los valores y las normas sociales austriacas. Estas normas ayudarán a los refugiados a tener una vida cotidiana mejor y beneficiarán a la sociedad austriaca. Unas normas de inmigración más estrictas ya han reducido el número de solicitantes de asilo que llegan a Austria.
