Australia prohíbe los símbolos nazis – nivel 2

Australia planea aprobar una ley que prohibiría la exhibición pública y la venta de símbolos nazis.

La medida surge como reacción al aumento de las actividades de extrema derecha en el país. No será posible utilizar símbolos como la esvástica y la insignia de las SS en banderas, brazaletes o impresos en la ropa. La prohibición no incluirá el saludo nazi, y corresponderá a los gobiernos estatales decidir cómo restringirlo. La agencia de inteligencia australiana advirtió sobre la creciente presencia de grupos de extrema derecha, cada vez más organizados y visibles. Los infractores pueden ser condenados a hasta 12 meses de prisión.

Será posible utilizar símbolos nazis con fines artísticos, académicos o religiosos porque son importantes en algunas religiones.
