Tim Cook deja el cargo de director ejecutivo de Apple tras quince años al frente de la empresa. Bajo su liderazgo, la empresa se convirtió en un gigante valorado en cuatro billones de dólares y alcanzó un enorme éxito financiero.

Aunque tomó el relevo de un fundador carismático, Cook logró hacer crecer el negocio de forma significativa. Seguirá como presidente para gestionar las relaciones importantes con China y la Casa Blanca, ya que tiene una habilidad única en este ámbito. John Ternus será el nuevo líder de la empresa a partir de este año. Ternus trabajó anteriormente como jefe de ingeniería de hardware y tiene muchas patentes por sus diseños. Los expertos creen que podría ser un líder más práctico en lo que respecta a los nuevos productos en comparación con Cook.

Este cambio llega en un momento en el que mucha gente se pregunta si Apple podrá crear un nuevo dispositivo tan exitoso como el iPhone. Uno de los principales problemas es que Apple se ha quedado atrás en la carrera por la IA. Otras empresas avanzan más rápido, y ahora la compañía debe ponerse al día para seguir siendo líder.
