Una app detecta el cáncer de mama – nivel 2

Dos licenciados universitarios han desarrollado recientemente un dispositivo que podría ser muy útil para las mujeres. El aparato se llama Dotplot y comprueba si hay cáncer en los pechos de las mujeres.
Las dos jóvenes descubrieron que era difícil autocomprobarse las mamas en casa porque la información no era clara sobre cómo hacerlo correctamente. Dotplot lee las mamas con ondas sonoras, y una app envía un informe sobre la exploración. La app también compara la exploración con exploraciones anteriores, lo que ayuda a ver si ha cambiado algo en las mamas.
En 2021, el cáncer de mama se convirtió en la forma más común de cáncer. Actualmente representa casi el 12% de los nuevos casos en todo el mundo.
