Amazon construyó un enorme centro de datos de IA en Indiana, en 1.200 acres. El centro utiliza 500.000 chips Tranium 2 para ejecutar la IA de Anthropic.

Hace un año, el terreno era tierra de cultivo, pero ahora funcionan siete edificios, y habrá unos 30 edificios cuando esté terminado. El centro utilizará mucha electricidad y agua. Los lugareños se preocupan por las carreteras, el agua y la electricidad, así que Amazon paga las mejoras. La empresa utiliza sus propios chips en lugar de Nvidia, lo que abarata los costes. Esto permite un rápido entrenamiento de la IA para Anthropic.
