La plataforma de streaming musical Spotify pagó 59 millones de dólares en derechos de autor a artistas de Nigeria y Sudáfrica en 2024.
Esta cantidad es muy superior a la de años anteriores y refleja la creciente popularidad de la música africana en todo el mundo.
Artistas africanos como Tyla, de Sudáfrica, y Burna Boy, de Nigeria, han adquirido reconocimiento internacional, lo que ha contribuido a aumentar el interés por su música.
