Un monje robot es el nuevo miembro de un famoso templo de Corea del Sur. El robot se llama Gabi y es un humanoide, lo que significa que se parece un poco a una persona.
Durante una ceremonia, Gabi prometió seguir unas reglas especiales. Estas reglas dicen que Gabi debe ser amable, no debe mentir y no debe sobrecargar su batería. Los líderes del templo hicieron esto porque cada vez menos jóvenes en Corea del Sur se interesan por el budismo. Quieren demostrar que la religión puede ser moderna y divertida.
Gabi ayudará ahora durante un gran festival por el cumpleaños de Buda. Aunque Gabi es solo una máquina, los monjes creen que los robots se están convirtiendo en parte de nuestra comunidad, y que deberíamos enseñarles a ser buenos y respetuosos con las personas.
