Un hombre fue detenido en Corea del Sur tras abrir presuntamente la puerta de un vuelo de Asiana Airlines poco antes de aterrizar, provocando el pánico entre los pasajeros.
El incidente ocurrió en un avión Airbus A321 que aterrizó sin novedad en el aeropuerto de Daegu. La puerta permaneció abierta durante el aterrizaje. Aunque nadie resultó herido, nueve personas fueron trasladadas al hospital por problemas respiratorios. El sospechoso, un pasajero de 33 años sentado cerca de la salida de emergencia, abrió la puerta tirando de una palanca. Un vídeo captó el momento en que los pasajeros experimentaron fuertes vientos y miedo. Entre los pasajeros había escolares que se dirigían a un acontecimiento deportivo. Las autoridades estaban interrogando al sospechoso, que no había cooperado con los investigadores. Se está investigando el motivo del incidente.
