Ryan Wardwell, de 46 años, va a las cascadas Seven Teacups de California el 10 de agosto. Quiere descender por las rocas con una cuerda. Pero el agua es demasiado fuerte. Le empuja detrás de una cascada. Se queda atrapado allí dos días, mojado y con frío.
Cuando no vuelve a su coche, la policía empieza a buscarle. Utilizan un dron y más tarde lo encuentran. Llega un gran helicóptero y lo saca. Ryan está vivo, pero muy sediento y cansado. Sólo tiene pequeñas heridas. Está contento de reencontrarse con su familia.
La policía dice a la gente que se mantenga a salvo cuando esté cerca de ríos fuertes.
