David Hockney es un artista británico muy famoso. Falleció un mes antes de cumplir 89 años. Mucha gente piensa que es uno de los mejores y más importantes artistas del mundo.

Se hizo famoso en los años 60. Pinta cuadros preciosos y alegres. A Hockney le encantan los colores vivos y pinta muchas piscinas preciosas con agua y sol. También le gusta la tecnología nueva. Crea obras de arte llenas de color en su iPad. En 2018, alguien compró uno de sus cuadros de piscinas por casi 70 millones de libras.

Hockney nació en una casita. Ha trabajado duro toda su vida. Pinta todos los días porque le hace feliz.
