Monjes budistas llegan a Washington – nivel 1

13-02-2026 15:00 Diecinueve monjes recorren Estados Unidos a pie durante 108 días. Comienzan en Texas y llegan hasta Washington. Caminan más de 3700 kilómetros. Hablan sobre la paz y la tranquilidad mental. Muchas personas los siguen por Internet y se encuentran con ellos por el camino. Los monjes visten ropas de color naranja y llevan un perro.

Mucha gente los espera en Washington. Alrededor de 3500 personas se sientan en silencio en un gran salón. Durante la caminata, un coche grande choca contra su vehículo. Dos monjes resultan heridos. Uno de ellos pierde una pierna. Más tarde, regresa en silla de ruedas.

Los monjes enseñan meditación. Piden a la gente que viva en paz todos los días. El número 108 es especial en el budismo.
