Zohra Zarougui procede de Túnez. Es pintora. Utiliza un estilo especial de pintura. Se llama Ebru.
El Ebru es muy antiguo. Los artistas lo utilizaron por primera vez en el siglo XV. Comienza en el suroeste de Asia. Luego se extiende también a otros países. Por ejemplo, llega a China e India.
El ebru es muy diferente de otros estilos de pintura. No es fácil de aprender. Tienes una vasija con una sustancia especial. Parece agua. Es más aceitosa.
Le pones diferentes colorantes. Cambian el color del agua. Crean bonitos dibujos. Luego pones papel o tela encima. El dibujo se mueve.
No es posible estudiar ebru en Túnez. Zarougui debe estudiar en otro país. Aprende a hacer bien el Ebru. Dura muchos años.
