Israel prohíbe Al Jazeera – nivel 2

El gabinete de Benjamín Netanyahu ha decidido prohibir Al Yazira, la cadena de noticias qatarí. Los israelíes no tendrán acceso a su sitio web ni podrán ver sus emisiones.
Las autoridades dijeron que Al Yazira apoyaba a Hamás y que era peligrosa para la seguridad del país. Al Jazeera alegó que eso no era cierto y que pensaba emprender acciones legales. Según el jefe de Al Jazeera, el gobierno quiere ocultar información sobre la situación en Gaza.
La prohibición se produce tras largos problemas entre Israel y Al Jazeera. En el pasado, Al Yazira dijo que Israel atacaba a su gente y sus edificios.
