Kate, la Princesa de Gales, dijo en un mensaje de vídeo que se está sometiendo a quimioterapia. Las pruebas realizadas tras la operación a la que fue sometida en enero revelaron que padecía cáncer.
La esposa del príncipe Guillermo, de 42 años, dijo que era una gran conmoción para ella y la familia. Kate fue operada con éxito anteriormente, pero otras pruebas revelaron el cáncer. El equipo médico de Kate le aconsejó que se sometiera a quimioterapia.
Tanto Kate como el príncipe Guillermo están gestionando la situación en privado porque quieren mantener a salvo a sus hijos. El palacio no dio más detalles sobre la salud de Kate. El rey Carlos también está recibiendo tratamiento contra el cáncer.
