El atleta paralímpico sudafricano Oscar Pistorius pasó casi 11 años en prisión por el asesinato de su novia Reeva Steenkamp.
Ha salido de prisión y está oficialmente en libertad condicional. La libertad condicional significa que un preso sale de la cárcel pero debe seguir unas normas estrictas.
Pistorius, apodado el ‘Blade Runner‘ por sus piernas ortopédicas, dijo que disparó a Steenkamp por error, porque pensó que había alguien en su piso. La juez no le creyó. Pistorius pasó unos ocho años y medio en la cárcel y siete meses en arresto domiciliario.
Pistorius, que ahora tiene 37 años, estará vigilado hasta diciembre de 2029 y participará en terapia de control de la ira y en sesiones sobre violencia de género.
