Es el año 1992. Nace un perro llamado Bobi. Es un mastín portugués. La mayoría de los perros como él viven entre 12 y 14 años. Pero Bobi es diferente. Vive 31 años y 165 días.
La vida de Bobi es difícil al principio. Nadie les quiere ni a él ni a sus tres hermanos. La gente quiere enterrarlos. Es algo habitual en esa época. Pero un joven llamado Leonel Costa y sus hermanos salvan a Bobi. El perro se convierte en parte de su familia. Vive con ellos toda su vida.
En febrero de 2023, Bobi se convierte oficialmente en el perro más viejo del mundo. Supera el récord de 29 años y 5 meses. La gente cree que la buena comida y una vida feliz hacen que Bobi viva tanto.
