Tim Shaddock es un pescador australiano. Tiene 51 años. En abril, él y su perra Bella partieron de México en un barco.

Shaddock quiere ir a la Polinesia Francesa. Un mes después, empiezan los problemas. Las tormentas dañan la electrónica del barco. El hombre no sabe dónde está ni adónde ir. La pareja permanece en el mar durante dos meses. Comen pescado crudo. Beben agua de lluvia.

Finalmente, un helicóptero vuela en el cielo. El piloto ve el barco. El hombre y su perro están a salvo. Ahora están de camino a México. Ambos están sanos.
