Fatou es una gorila que vive en un zoo de Berlín. Tiene 68 años, una edad muy avanzada para un gorila. La mayoría de los gorilas sólo viven 30 ó 40 años.
Fatou vive en el zoo 66 años. Llegó cuando sólo tenía 2 años. Es africana. Su especie se llama gorila occidental de llanura. Fatou ya no puede andar muy bien. Le duelen las piernas y los brazos. Camina un poco encorvada. No tiene dientes, así que come comida blanda. Come verduras cocidas y algo de fruta como premio.
La gente del zoo la ayuda y se asegura de que se sienta bien. ¡Feliz cumpleaños, Fatou!
