Una misión de rescate logró reunir a más de 30 niños con sus familias en Ucrania.
Estos niños vivían en zonas que Rusia ocupó durante la guerra. Las autoridades rusas enviaron a estos niños a campamentos de verano que debían durar dos semanas. Pero los niños tuvieron que permanecer allí de cuatro a seis meses y a menudo se trasladaban de un lugar a otro. Se quedaron en edificios separados y recibieron información de que sus familias ya no los querían.
Los niños viajaron por cuatro países antes de poder reunirse de nuevo con sus familias. Según funcionarios ucranianos, Rusia deportó ilegalmente a casi 19.500 niños desde febrero del año pasado.
