Turquía y los refugiados sirios – nivel 1

La UE dará a Turquía mil millones de euros para ayudar a los refugiados sirios. Así lo ha declarado la presidenta de la Comisión Europea, Ursula von der Leyen, tras reunirse con el presidente turco Erdogan.
El dinero ayudará a escuelas, hospitales y otros servicios para cuatro millones de refugiados en Turquía. Ambos líderes coinciden en que Siria necesita la paz.
La UE también tiene previsto colaborar con los dirigentes sirios para impedir el regreso de grupos peligrosos como el ISIS. Turquía es importante porque habla a menudo con los dirigentes sirios. El presidente Erdogan está contento con el dinero. Pero quiere que la UE elimine las normas que impiden la ayuda a Siria. Turquía cree que Siria necesita el dinero para construir nuevas carreteras y viviendas.
