El principal funcionario electoral del estado de Maine ha dicho que Donald Trump no puede presentarse a las elecciones presidenciales de 2024. El motivo es su papel en los disturbios del Capitolio.
Esto sigue a una medida similar en Colorado, y aumenta la presión sobre el Tribunal Supremo. El funcionario dijo que las personas implicadas en una insurrección no pueden ser presidentes. En California se podrá votar a Trump. Pero el Tribunal Supremo puede decidir si Trump puede presentarse a presidente o no.
