En Barcelona, el turismo encarece mucho la vivienda. Mucha gente ya no puede pagar el alquiler.

La ciudad quiere poner fin a los pisos turísticos en 2028. Personas como Alicia y Nadia dicen que la vivienda es demasiado cara ahora. Nadia perdió su piso porque el propietario quería alquilarlo a turistas. Ahora vive en un pequeño lugar hecho con contenedores de transporte.

Muchos propietarios alquilan viviendas a turistas que pagan más dinero. Esto es un gran problema para la gente que no gana tanto dinero. La ciudad está haciendo casas especiales donde el alquiler no sube. Alicia vive en una de estas casas y está contenta de pagar menos.

Barcelona sigue queriendo que vengan turistas. Pero la ciudad también quiere ayudar a la población local a permanecer en sus casas y vivir mejor.
