Un templo de Tailandia muy popular entre los turistas alberga 137 tigres. La policía lo investigó por presuntos vínculos con el tráfico de animales salvajes, así como por acusaciones de cría ilegal.
Los funcionarios han retirado algunos tigres del templo y no han prorrogado su licencia de zoológico. Trasladaron a los tigres incautados a centros de conservación. Algunos voluntarios del templo creen que desarraigar a los animales es traumático para ellos.
